Corporate governance: first corporate manslaughter conviction

Cotswold Geotechnical Holdings has become the first company to be convicted of the offence of corporate manslaughter under the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, following the death of one of its employees, a geologist, who died after a deep trench in which he was working collapsed.
