We understand that there are behind the scenes discussions in the Department for Communities and Local Government to change the regulations relating to Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). If the proposed changes are brought in, they will have a significant impact on the marketing of properties for sale or letting. Our understanding is that these changes could be brought into effect as early as July this year.
However, we cannot give any specific details of the changes because draft regulations are yet to be published. We shall issue an update as soon as we have further information.
