Stevens & Bolton Corporate Partner, Keith Syson, has been named ‘Corporate Lawyer of the Year’ at the South East Insider Dealmakers Awards 2017.
Insider's 11th annual Dealmakers Awards, were held last night and celebrated the achievements of the region's top M&A professionals.
Commenting on his award, Keith said: “I am delighted to win this award and to be recognised by other senior corporate finance professionals and business from across the region. Whilst this is an individual award, it is very much a reflection of the entire corporate team at Stevens & Bolton and the clients we work for. It highlights our pre-eminent market position in the South East corporate finance community.”
Keith specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and other finance, joint ventures and demergers as well as providing a broad range of corporate advice to business clients. This is the fourth time he has been named ‘Corporate Lawyer of the Year’ in the past nine years.
The corporate team were also shortlisted for ‘Law Firm of the Year’, having celebrated another strong year in 2016, seeing £3bn+ deal value across 20 industry sectors, with 40% of deals being international. The team were ranked ‘National Leaders (outside London)’ in the 2017 Chambers UK legal directory.
