Stevens & Bolton LLP is proud to announce that Matthew Carman, Senior Associate in the private client team, has been named in the eprivateclient Top 35 Under 35 2016 - the definitive annual list of young private client practitioners. The Top 35 Under 35 is designed to identify, recognise, introduce and promote the rising stars of the private client professions.
Matthew joined Stevens & Bolton in 2012, having practised and trained at Slaughter and May. He advises individuals, families and trustees on a wide range of tax and trust issues, with a particular focus on complex onshore and offshore trust structures (including employee benefit trusts), tax efficient strategies for non-UK domiciliaries, investment taxation and succession planning. Last year, Matthew completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts & Estates with distinction, obtaining the second highest mark globally, and was recently awarded the Brendan Hall Prize for his performance in these exams.
Commenting on Matthew’s recognition, Stuart Skeffington, head of the private client practice, commented: “Having been awarded the Brendan Hall Prize earlier this year, Matthew is one of our rising stars and thoroughly deserves this recognition as one of the top 35 private client lawyers under 35. We are immensely proud that he has received this industry-wide recognition for his technical ability and achievements.”
