Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised Independent Plant Hire Group Limited, and its equity investor Merino Private Equity Limited, on their acquisition of Jovic Plant Hire Limited, a plant hire business based in Essex.
Jovic’s core business is the hire of quality plant equipment, machinery repairs and the sale of used machinery, serving the local construction market.
Merino Private Equity’s portfolio company, Independent Plant Hire Group, has now completed two transactions since making the initial acquisition in 2016.
The Stevens & Bolton team was led by corporate partner Keith Syson, supported by Andrew Dodds (finance) and Philip Leyshon (corporate).
Stevens & Bolton has acted for Merino Private Equity in connection with a number of acquisitions over the past 2 years, including the Independent Plant Hire acquisition, and the investment in bike retailer Paul’s Cycle earlier this year.
