Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised Monitise plc on its partly underwritten placing on AIM, raising a total of £100 million from institutional investors, and on two related acquisitions including the purchase of shares in Monitise's UK Mobile Money Network joint venture.

Monitise enables financial institutions and other payments companies to defend and extend their market position by protecting their existing customer relationships and transactions while enabling new forms of mobile commerce revenue.
