Today is World Mental Health Day, and as part of our ongoing commitment for our designated charity Oakleaf, staff at Stevens & Bolton LLP have been raising further funds – which included a team who bravely walked across hot coals to raise money (fire walking is a great achievement and battles both the body and mind!)
Oakleaf is the only mental health charity in Surrey who work hard as a social enterprise to provide vocational training for those suffering from mental health issues. They are the firm’s designated charity from May 2013 for two years. Fundraising activities include running a Promises Auction (whereby S&B staff auction their services for charitable donations), participating in the Great South Run and various other activities.
