Ellie advises on a range of private wealth disputes, with particular emphasis on will validity claims, Inheritance Act (Provision for Family and Dependants) 1975 claims and trust disputes.
Ellie joined Stevens & Bolton as a newly qualified solicitor in March 2023, having trained at a regional firm.
Ellie acts for a range of clients including family members who have lost a loved one, and professional and lay trustees.
Recent highlights include:
- Acting for a protector of a trust in advising on their retirement as protector
- Initiating Inheritance Act 1975 proceedings on behalf of a client
- Acting on behalf of a group of family members in will validity proceedings
- Acting for a group of claimants in a professional negligence claim against their tax advisors
