Mollie advises businesses and individuals on a range of real estate issues including commercial lease renewals, dilapidations and break rights.
Mollie joined Stevens & Bolton in November 2023, having worked at an international law firm. Prior to this she trained and qualified at a regional firm.
Mollie’s experience includes trespass claims, rights of way, service charge disputes and the Electronic Communications Code. She also advises on residential landlord and tenant matters, including assisting landlords to recover possession, and has expertise of court and tribunal proceedings (including the Court of Appeal) and alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.
Mollie has acted for high street retailers, portfolio landlords and asset management companies.
Recent highlights include:
- Attending a mediation on behalf of a landlord relating to a substantial terminal dilapidations claim
- Acting for a national company in arbitration proceedings relating to a service charge dispute
- Successfully obtaining an urgent warrant for a national utility provider to allow them to enter premises to carry out essential works to maintain the provision of services
- Acting for both landlords and tenants on a range of contested and uncontested lease renewals
- Successfully obtaining a commercial lease renewal at court on terms favourable to the client
