  1. Business Immigration

Our top ranked, high calibre, immigration team offers a comprehensive immigration capability, with particular expertise in relation to advising employers on employment and business immigration matters.

Our clients range from UK start-up businesses to multinationals. We work with our clients to determine the most appropriate route for their employees to enter or remain in the UK in each situation and provide solutions to immigration problems.

We regularly advise businesses wishing to transfer employees to the UK from overseas linked companies or who wish to hire overseas nationals to work in the UK. This includes advising on obtaining and maintaining a sponsorship licence, submitting applications as Skilled Workers and under the Senior/Specialist Worker route (previously called the Intra Company transfer route)  and recruiting interns and the legal parameters of the business visitor category.

We also advise businesses on the impact of Brexit in relation hiring and retaining European nationals and their family members.

We regularly provide tailored immigration training to both businesses and their employees.

We also advise in relation to coming to the UK under the Start Up and Innovator routes, as well as other business categories, applications for interns and other temporary staff, and applications on the basis of being the spouse of a British national or through British ancestry. In addition, we advise on obtaining indefinite leave to remain in the UK and naturalisation as a British citizen.

We offer a tailored service to suit clients' needs and provide businesses with as much support as they and their employees require during the application process, which we appreciate is often a stressful time.

Operating within the employment team we are also well placed to advise on employment related issues, such as right to work checks, the prevention of illegal working or immigration issues arising from the sale or purchase of a business as well as steps to take if you suspect someone does not have the right to work in the UK.
