Advice has always been clear, concise and helpful

Our top ranked, high calibre, Immigration team offers a comprehensive immigration capability, with particular expertise in relation to advising employers on employment and business immigration matters.

Our clients range from UK start up businesses to multinational PLCs. We work with our clients to determine the most appropriate route for their employees to enter or remain in the UK in each situation and come up with solutions to immigration problems.

We regularly advise businesses wanting to transfer employees to the UK from overseas linked companies or who wish to hire overseas nationals to work in the UK.  This includes, where relevant, advising on obtaining and maintaining a sponsorship licence, submitting applications under the Points Based System, especially under Tier 2, recruiting interns and the legal parameters of the business visitor category.

Stevens & Bolton is spot-on for immigration

We also advise in relation to coming to the UK under the Investor and Entrepreneur routes, as well as other categories, including extending leave to remain in the UK under Tier 1 (General), applications for interns and other temporary staff under Tier 5, and applications on the basis of being the spouse of a British national or through British ancestry.  We also advise on obtaining indefinite leave to remain in the UK and naturalisation as a British Citizen.

We offer a tailored service to suit clients' needs and provide businesses with as much support as they and their employees require during the application process, which we appreciate is often a stressful time. We are also able to book representative appointments for certain applications submitted in the UK to enable applicants to attend the UKBA Public Enquiry Office, where applications are usually processed on a same day basis.  This means that the applicant will not usually be without their passport for any significant period of time.

Operating within the Employment team we are also well placed to advise on employment related issues, such as the prevention of illegal working or immigration issues arising from the sale or purchase of a business.
