New London court designed to tackle cybercrime, fraud and economic crime

A brand new 18 courtroom building will be built in the City of London specifically designed to tackle cybercrime, fraud and economic crime, the government announced recently.

It will be built on the site of Fleetbank House and is expected to be completed in 2025. Cybercrime attacks are a rapidly increasing global phenomenon which can cause significant financial loss and give rise to costly disputes. This specialist court should provide effective justice and further support the City of London’s reputation as the world’s financial centre.
