We are pleased to announce that from 1 May 2017 Richard King, currently head of dispute resolution, will become our next managing partner following the completion of Ken Woffenden’s 5 year term at the helm. Richard, who will continue his dispute resolution practice, will be responsible for the day to day management of the firm.
Ken, who will continue as a corporate/M&A partner, will also lead our growing international practice with overall responsibility for our relationships with law firms across the world.

Current senior partner Richard Baxter has been reappointed for a further 5 year term alongside continuing his practice as a corporate/M&A partner.
The last few years have seen year on year revenue growth and continuing investment in our business. Since January 2016 we have:
- appointed 10 new partners (including 3 lateral hires)
- increased overall headcount by 14%
- won the “National/Regional Law Firm of the Year” category at the 2016 Legal Business Awards
Following a major strategic review in 2016 we have completed a new 3 year strategic plan to reinforce our vision to be one of the UK’s most successful independent law firms, offering excellence beyond the City, a great culture and one of the best client experiences.
