The Competition team at Stevens & Bolton LLP has recently published highlights of 2014 which includes a selection of articles relating to the key competition law developments that occurred last year.
We saw regime change in both the UK and Europe. In the UK, a new Competition and Markets Authority ("CMA") took over on 1 April from the Office of Fair Trading ("OFT") and Competition Commission ("CC"). In Europe, a new European Competition Commissioner, Margrethe Vestager, began her five-year term on 1 November, taking over from Joaquin Almunia. 2014 was a busy year in both London and Brussels, with a number of significant changes.
