Environmental law expert contributes to RICS guidance note

One of Stevens & Bolton LLP's environmental law experts, Valerie Fogleman, has contributed to the new guidance note on contamination and environmental matters recently published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

This new guidance note brings members up to date with legislation and best practice in relation to a wide range of environmental issues, particularly contaminated land. The guidance note titled 'Contamination, the environment and sustainability: implications for chartered surveyors and their clients' replaces earlier versions of 'Contamination and Environmental matters - their implications for property professionals', to ensure that surveyors are equipped to deal confidently with the real estate challenges posed by these three interlinked issues.
