Richard Mumford, head of aviation at Stevens & Bolton, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA). He succeeds Tony Coe who served as Chairman for 3 years and formally begins the role on 17 March 2016.
Speaking about his appointment as Chairman of BACA Richard commented:
“It is a privilege to take over the role of Chairman of BACA from Tony Coe, who has served the association with such dedication and good wisdom over the past 3 years. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the members to thank him for all of his hard work. I would also like to thank the members of the Council who volunteer their time tirelessly in pursuit of the association’s objectives.
I am passionately supportive of BACA and the members. BACA provides a fantastic platform for its members to meet and to share thoughts and concerns. The association has also taken a big step forward through the introduction of the accredited broker scheme and on-line training facility. We have spent the past couple of years exploring how we might harness the strength of the membership to the greater good of the market. With the support of the members and Council, we will continue this work through to the delivery of a number of tangible initiatives that will build on the strength of the BACA badge. I look forward to bringing my expertise and enthusiasm to bear to build on these successes whilst maintaining the fine traditions of the association As a firm of solicitors with a specialist aviation team, we are delighted to take this opportunity to contribute in a wider context to making the market stronger for all.”
