Stevens & Bolton LLP advises AIM listed Monitise plc

Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised Monitise plc on its partly underwritten placing on AIM, raising a total of £100 million from institutional investors, and on two related acquisitions including the purchase of shares in Monitise's UK Mobile Money Network joint venture.
 
Monitise plc is a leading technology and services company that delivers mobile banking, payments, and commerce networks worldwide. Monitise enables financial institutions and other payments companies to defend and extend their market position by protecting their existing customer relationships and transactions while enabling new forms of mobile commerce revenue.
 
The Stevens & Bolton LLP team was led by James Waddell (corporate partner) and supported by corporate partners Joe Bedford and Jonathan Porteous, Lucy Handford (senior corporate associate) and Mark Smith (corporate associate).
