Stevens & Bolton LLP has today announced that it has signed a pre-letting agreement for the whole of Wey House, one of Guildford’s most prominent office developments, and expects to relocate by June 2010.
The firm will take 46,000 sq ft of refurbished Grade A space and will enjoy a substantial rent free period. The existing leases at Stevens & Bolton’s current home, The Billings, begin to come to an end early next year.
Managing partner Richard Baxter commented:
“We are pleased with the deal we have negotiated and believe that this move will be very positive for us. We will be able to keep everyone under one roof in a perfect location close to London and national transport routes, while keeping our cost base significantly lower than our City peers.
We will also enhance the working environment for us and our clients, as well as being better able to manage our growth – both organic and high impact lateral hires. All this should help us to take advantage of the economic upturn when it arrives.”
Kingstons and BNP Paribas Real Estate advised Stevens & Bolton LLP.
In June of this year the firm became the 100th member of the Law Society’s International Division and was recently awarded ‘National/Regional firm of the year’ in the prestigious annual Legal Business industry awards.
