Angelica advises on a wide range of commercial matters including commercial contracts, advertising, data protection, franchising, consumer protection and IT.
Recent work includes advising businesses on compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations and related legislation, such as updating and preparing contracts for GDPR, advising on the use of analytics and CCTV, and preparing privacy notices and other mandatory GDPR documents.
She regularly advises on services, software, manufacturing, distribution and insurance contracts. Angelica is a member of the franchise practice group and undertakes a significant amount of work in this area advising both franchisors and franchisees, preparing and reviewing franchise agreements and assisting in the sales of franchise businesses. She has a particular interest in the retail sector where work includes advising on consumer protection issues, e-commerce, pricing claims, promotions and compliance of adverts with legal requirements and applicable codes. She is fluent in German and a member of the firm’s CSR Group.
Angelica trained at Stevens & Bolton before qualifying into the commercial team in September 2016. During Angelica’s training contract, she spent four months on secondment at The AA advising on commercial and corporate matters. She is always keen to learn more about clients’ businesses and commercial priorities so that her advice meets each client’s specific needs.
