Emily advises on intellectual property matters.
Emily advises clients on a wide range of IP issues including on the drafting of complex patent and know-how licensing arrangements, with a particular focus on the life sciences sector. Her contentious experience includes advising a range of clients on handling trade mark, design right and copyright infringements and domain name disputes.
Emily first joined Stevens & Bolton in 2018 as a paralegal in the corporate practice before commencing her training contract in 2020 and qualifying into the intellectual property team in 2022. During her training contract, Emily gained valuable experience advising on commercial contracts and regulatory matters during her commercial seat, and assisted employers in relation to employee breaches of confidentiality during her employment seat.
Emily is a member of the firm’s life sciences group, having read Biomedical Sciences prior to joining the firm.
