Paula trained at Eversheds LLP, qualifying in 2004. She then spent five years at Shadbolt LLP before joining Stevens & Bolton LLP in 2010.
Paula advises on a wide range of national and international commercial disputes. She has substantial High Court experience including obtaining and defending injunctions and freezing orders, challenges to jurisdiction and enforcement of domestic and foreign judgments. She also has arbitration experience in London and overseas including Paris and Hong Kong. She advises clients across sectors including aviation and life sciences.
Significant cases include successfully defending various European, North and South American subsidiaries of an international beverage company in a Zurich arbitration under the LCIA Rules, and acting for the French subsidiary of an international pharmaceutical group in a London ICC arbitration, including pursuing enforcement under the New York Convention.
Paula has studied and worked in Quebec, Canada, and speaks fluent French.
