Banking and Finance Litigation
Our dispute resolution team advises a number of clients in the finance sector, working together with the banking and finance team where required.
We advise both banks and financial institutions and corporate clients on disputes concerning facility documents, mis-selling of derivatives, insolvency and loan/security recovery. We combine significant expertise in commercial litigation with our specialist knowledge of the banking and finance sector.

Work in this area is often international in nature, for example the recovery of ‘big ticket’ leased assets and claims arising out of international trade financing arrangements. We are able to work in conjunction with our network of foreign lawyers to deal with disputes before courts and international arbitration tribunals across Europe and beyond.
The team is also experienced in advising on disputes arising out of corporate finance transactions and has acted for regulated businesses, including banks, placement agents and corporate finance advisers, in relation to disputes arising out of IPOs.
