Louise is a highly capable and adaptable lawyer.

Louise joined Stevens & Bolton in 2020 having previously qualified and worked at a City law firm. She regularly acts for insolvency office holders, lenders, directors and purchasers of distressed assets. Louise has built significant experience acting for clients on both contentious and transactional matters.

A confident communicator and relationship-builder, Louise is adept at explaining complex legal concepts clearly. She provides strategic advice to her clients while remaining mindful of their underlying commercial objectives.

  • Advising the insolvency office holders of an online peer-to-peer lender with significant client money deposits;
  • Successfully obtaining a court order removing unilateral notices registered against the title of a development property on behalf of the liquidator of a Gibraltarian company;
  • Supporting a leading UK automotive business on its acquisition of the business and assets of a competitor by way of pre-pack administration sale;
  • Advising the founders of a Ugandan-based agri-business on its financial restructuring;
  • Acting for a Spanish events promoter in relation to its alleged trust claim in the administration of an online ticketing platform;
  • Advising a large developer on security enforcement strategy and the subsequent acquisition of development assets from insolvency office holders.
