About

Alex is Head of Commercial Real Estate. Alex is a determined and collaborative transactional lawyer specialising in the acquisition and disposal of investment property development projects, and advising companies in relation to their occupational requirements.

He is regularly asked to provide advice on complicated option, promotion and overage arrangements and also acts for clients on the purchasing, selling and management of investment properties.

Alex trained and qualified at a Magic Circle firm. He joined Stevens & Bolton as a partner in 2016.

  • Recent work
    • Advising Hambridge Estates on its investment purchase (via sub-sale) of a portfolio of regional Kwik Fit and Halfords properties across England.
    • Acting for a new investor client on the acquisition of all the freehold and leasehold interests (plus business assets) of the Thruxton Motor Racing Circuit and Aerodrome which comprises over 440 acres of land including the racing circuit; c.150,000 sq ft of industrial warehouses and hardstanding, a CAA licenced Aerodrome and c. 95,000 sq ft of hangars.
    • Advising on the redevelopment of an educational college in South West London.
    • Acting for a recently set up property investment business in connection with the purchase of multi-let office and retail buildings with acquisition values between £15m – £30m.
    • Advising the Caravan and Motorhome Club on the acquisition and disposal of a number of sites as part of the restructuring of their portfolio during 2024/2025.
    • Advising a global technology company on their office and retail premises with rental values between £250k and £3m per annum
    • Advising a real estate investor on the acquisition of a headlease interest in an industrial estate in the North of England for circa £10m which was subject to a number of occupational leases.
