About

Azrah qualified as a solicitor in March 2023 and joined Stevens & Bolton in the same year, having trained at a large regional firm.

Since joining the firm Azrah has built relationships with a mixture of the firm’s large business and SME clients. She has assisted them with drafting contracts, employee handbooks and standalone policies, as well as advising them in relation to redundancies, employee exits and defending employment tribunal claims. She also regularly works with individual employees to negotiate settlement agreement terms.

Approachable, dependable and determined, Azrah is always resolved to help achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. She has a particular interest in advising clients on disciplinary and grievance matters, helping them to balance the commercial and legal considerations and to formulate a solution.

  • Provided strategic advice to an international marketing company on how to manage a grievance raised by an employee;
  • Advised a manufacturing company on how to conduct a redundancy consultation process;
  • Assisted an automotive company with preparing a defense against a discrimination claim brought by an employee in the employment tribunal;
  • Supported an international pharmaceutical company to obtain a sponsor license and sponsor skilled workers.

Azrah is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and proudly serves on the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) Race Equality Committee (REC) and is a member of the Stevens & Bolton Race and Ethnicity D&I subcommittee.

When our clients come to us for help, they know we won’t just settle for treating the symptoms of the problem. Instead, we will work in partnership with them to find a commercially sensible cure.
