About

Bea is an associate in the intellectual property team at Stevens & Bolton. She advises clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, helping businesses protect the brands, creative works, innovations and reputations that set them apart.

Drawing on experience gained across IP, employment, corporate and dispute resolution during her training contract, Bea takes a commercially focused and dynamic approach to advising clients, with a strong understanding of the wider legal and business issues they face.

Bea has a particular interest in intellectual property disputes, reputation management and defamation matters. She is also an active member of the firm’s fashion and luxury sector group.

  • Assisting clients with trade mark portfolio management and brand protection strategies.
  • Supporting on intellectual property licensing arrangements and commercial agreements involving the creation and exploitation of intellectual property rights.
  • Advising on the intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence exercises, intellectual property ownership reviews and related transaction documentation.
  • Assisting clients with intellectual property infringement and enforcement matters.
  • Advising on copyright ownership and exploitation issues, including the protection and transfer of rights in creative works.
  • Bea graduated from the University of Exeter with a first-class degree in English before completing the PGDL and Solicitors Qualifying Examinations at the University of Law.
