About

Duncan is Head of Trusts and Accounting. He is an accountant who trained and qualified at a City firm of chartered accountants.

He joined Stevens & Bolton in 2018 to deliver a collaborative service to our clients. He provides pragmatic advice to a diverse mix of UK and non-UK resident individuals, trusts and underlying structures on their UK duties, compliance obligations and UK taxation exposure.

In addition to advisory services, Duncan prepares financial statements for trusts under UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice and handles UK self-assessment and inheritance tax compliance. He has a particular interest in compliance with UK Anti-Money Laundering and cross border Automatic Exchange of Information legislation.

Duncan also serves as Company Secretary to Stevens & Bolton Trustees Ltd, our in-house corporate trustee.

Duncan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and a member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
