About

Ellie is a capable and pragmatic lawyer. Since joining Stevens & Bolton in 2023 as a newly qualified lawyer, Ellie has worked on a variety of private wealth disputes including will validity, Inheritance Act, trust disputes and constructive trust claims.

Ellie is adept to working with individuals, companies and professional trustees and approaches her clients with understanding and creative solutions to navigate litigious cases.

A strong communicator and with a human approach, Ellie provides a fresh perspective to clients and adopts a holistic approach to claims. Ellie is dedicated to her clients and will go above and beyond to anticipate developments and resolve disputes in a clear and appropriate manner.

Ellie is currently studying for an Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists qualification and sits on the Surrey Junior Lawyers Division committee. She is a member of ConTrA, the Contentious Trusts association.

  • Acting for an individual in respect of the construction of set of Trust documents and his position as beneficiary as adopted son of the settlor;
  • Tracing funds and advising a group of siblings on a constructive trust claim to monies invested on their behalf by their parents circa 40 years prior;
  • Initiating court proceedings for a group of claimants in respect of a Will validity claim;
  • Acting for two claimant siblings in pursuing an Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claim;
  • Reclaiming inheritance tax for an executor client on a failed lifetime gift;
  • Representing the protector of a BVI Trust and advising in relation to his retirement as protector;
  • Instructed by a Company in respect of unwinding historic share incentive schemes.
