James is a proactive lawyer who always seeks to go above and beyond for his clients.

Since joining Stevens & Bolton in 2019 from a top 50 national firm, he has worked with landlords, investors, developers and corporate occupiers across a whole range of commercial real estate assets in order tomaximise value and to achieve his client’s objectives. James’ practice particularly focuses on investor clients, as well as corporate occupier clients.

James has a passion for understanding his client’s aims and objectives and looking at the bigger picture to understand how each transaction fits in what with his clients are trying to achieve.

  • Advised an investor client on the £20m acquisition of an industrial estate, subject to tenancies.
  • Advised a corporate occupier client on an Agreement for Lease and Lease relating to their flagship offices in London’s Walkie Talkie Building.
  • Assisted on the freehold acquisition of a technology park for an investor client with a value in excess of £40m.
  • Advised on the real estate elements of a corporate acquisition of a hotel, golf club and spa.
  • Advising a publicly listed healthcare fund on their asset management requirements.
  • Advised a corporate occupier client in connection with their taking a lease in London’s “Can of Ham” Building on 70 St Mary Axe.
