Since joining Stevens & Bolton in 2018 from a City firm, Jo has:

  • worked with investors to acquire and manage their commercial real estate portfolios
  • advised developers on commercial and residential projects
  • guided corporate occupiers through unfamiliar property matters to ensure suitable outcomes for their business.

    • Acting for a real estate investor on the acquisition of mixed-use office, industrial and retail properties for investment purposes ranging from £3m – £40m and the ongoing leasehold management aspects of the acquired properties to generate market income.
    • Advising a real estate investor on a purchase of mixed-use property in London (acquired by way of a sub-sale) and the simultaneous grant of a headlease of the ground floor retail units back to the seller.
    • Representing a commercial developer with the ongoing asset management of an industrial estate including procuring sufficient exit provisions to permit the future re-development and sale of the property.
    • Acting for a commercial property developer on the purchase of development sites and the redevelopment to retail use together with pre-let agreements to high street retail tenants to ensure an exit strategy on practical completion.
    • Advising a client in the energy sector on the acquisition and development of sites for use as gas-fuelled peaking electricity generation stations, battery energy storage systems and solar power generation.
