Katie joined Stevens & Bolton as a consultant in 2018, bringing with her invaluable cross border expertise both from working at a leading international law firm for over 10 years (which included two overseas secondments) and having been brought up in multiple jurisdictions.
Katie helps clients with their Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate administration, trusts and personal tax planning. Whilst Katie relishes the mental gymnastics of coordinating advice in different jurisdictions, she is also very at home with her domestic clients often where the family circumstances can be quite delicate and they need a trusted and compassionate adviser.
Katie has received a number of accolades over the years. Most recently, she was named “Best Domestic Estate Planning Lawyer – UK” at the 2024 and 2023 Wealth and Finance Retirement Planning Awards and “Estate & Tax Planning Lawyer of the Year – UK” at the 2022 Wealth and Finance Retirement Planning Awards. She has also been a finalist at the British Legal Awards and was awarded Citywealth’s Tomorrow Club Woman of the Year Award 2010.
Katie is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England and Wales).
