Meg is a proactive and capable lawyer.

Since joining Stevens & Bolton in 2023 from aleading regional law firm, she has worked with established businesses, start-ups and individuals across a variety of sectors to buy, sell, restructure, and finance companies navigating today’s fast-changing marketplace.

A great communicator and relationship-builder, Meg takes time to understand her clients’ objectives and simplifies the complexities, helping clients balance commercial and legal considerations and ensuring they get the most from their transaction.

  • Acquisitions of premium day care and nursery businesses across England and Scotland for a repeat acquirer and longstanding client;
  • Acting for an international multidisciplinary engineering, science and technology consultancy on the sale of its interests in an award-winning naval architecture company;
  • Acting for shareholders of an international accountancy and business advisory group on their sale to a Top 20 accountancy firm;
  • Acting for a FTSE 100 international distribution and outsourcing group on a strategic UK acquisition and group restructuring;
  • Advising continuing members of a financial planning LLP in relation to transfers of LLP interests;
  • Advising an investor on investment in an emerging sustainable fashion business;
  • Beyond advancing deals, Meg is passionate about mentoring aspiring solicitors and driving diversity in law, acting as co-chair of Guildford Junior Professionals and a member of the Diversity and Inclusion forum at Stevens & Bolton.
