With extensive experience in mid-market M&A, venture and growth funding, and private equity, Oscar advises both national and international clients.

He joined Stevens & Bolton in 2010 from a City law firm and became a partner in 2020. Oscar is known for his pragmatic approach, commercial thinking, and problem-solving skills, particularly in cross-border transactions. His clients include large corporates, private equity funds, listed groups, growing owner-managed businesses, and entrepreneurs.

  • Advising the shareholders of Denton, a specialist office design and fit-out company, on the sale to Bowmer + Kirkland Ltd, one of the UK’s largest privately owned construction and development groups.
  • Advising Specialist Risk Group, backed by Warburg Pincus, Temasek and Ecclesia, and one of the one of the fastest-growing groups of insurance intermediaries in the UK, on its buy-and-build strategy including numerous acquisitions of insurance brokers in the last 24 months.
  • Advising the shareholders and management team of Tetra Consulting, the market-leading provider of property risk management services and software, on the significant investment by CBPE, which won ‘Deal of the Year’ in the high value category at the Insider Deal Awards 2025.
  • Advising the Lisbon-based Harland & Poston Group on its successful acquisition of Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa Hotel.
  • Advising US-based specialist sports fund, Bright Path Sports Partners, on its £105m investment in Ipswich Town Football Club.
  • Assisting the selling shareholders on the $10.2m sale of Red Fox I.D. Ltd to Quarterhill, Inc., a leading provider of tolling and enforcement solutions, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
  • Advising Seal Software Group, the global AI-driven contract analytics SaaS business, through its $188m sale to DocuSign, including prior strategic investments and funding rounds by angel investors and West Coast US PE fund Toba Capital.
  • Supporting the shareholders and management team of Zenitech, the fast-growing digital transformation services provider based in the UK, Romania and Lithuania, on its significant investment from private equity buy and build specialist, Sovereign Capital Partners.
  • Advising US multinational, RPM International Inc., on numerous buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
  • Advising US headquartered financial services company, Marshberry, on its acquisition of FCA-regulated IMAS Corporate Finance.
  • Guiding Actica Consulting, the specialist provider of digital transformation, cyber security and technical consultancy services to the public sector, through its sale to Sovereign Capital Partners.
  • Advising on the sale of cloud consulting business, RedPixie, to Hewlett-Packard Enterprises.
  • Supporting Fintech VC fund, Anthemis Group, with various fintech investments.
  • Assisting Environmental Technologies Fund with its £3m investment in iGeolise.
