Rachel is a capable and pragmatic lawyer.

Since joining Stevens & Bolton in 2017 from an international law firm, she has worked with HR professionals, in-house counsel, senior executives and individual employees to deliver responsive and strategic advice on a broad range of workplace issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes, redundancy processes, settlement agreements, contract negotiations and multifaceted Tribunal claims.

Rachel is a strong communicator and adept at navigating and explaining complex legal issues in a clear and practical way, providing tailored solutions to clients that balance legal considerations with their business needs.

  • Advising on defending complex Employment Tribunal proceedings which included claims of employment status, whistleblowing and sex discrimination;
  • Advising on the legal implications of altering a current incentive scheme and the introduction and implementation of a new incentive scheme across an organisation;
  • Advising on complex disciplinary and grievance proceedings;
  • Advising on the TUPE aspects of a large-scale outsourcing agreement.
