Rebecca is clear and pragmatic in her advice.

She works with employers and senior executives in all aspects of the employment relationship, and often helps overseas employers navigate UK employment law. She is also experienced in employment litigation. Rebecca joined Stevens & Bolton in 2019 and, since then, has enjoyed partnering with a number of clients to achieve success. Rebecca has a particular understanding of the workforce challenges faced by the hospitality and leisure sector.

  • Advised several employer clients on the investigation of sensitive allegations of sexual harassment and the resulting grievance and disciplinary processes;
  • Successfully achieved resolution in Employment Tribunal litigation including for claims of unfair dismissal, discrimination and sexual harassment;
  • Supported clients on the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006, including drafting and negotiating complex employment indemnities;
  • Advised a large hotel on the conduct and resolution of a complex investigation into allegations of race discrimination from a former employee;
  • Assisted a parcel delivery client with the analysis of the employment status of its drivers, conducting an analysis of recent developments in caselaw.
