As a Vacation Scheme student you will have the opportunity to get involved in the work of the practice area you are sitting in, together with project work across several areas of Law.
Our next Vacation Schemes will take place around Easter 2024 (Week 1: 2nd - 5th & Week 2: 8th - 11th April) and will last 4 days each. We will be accepting applications for places from 1 December 2023 - 31 January 2024. These are open to second year law undergraduates, third year non-law graduates and all postgraduates. We offer 15 places on each week.
During the course of the week, there are introductions to each practice, and there is an opportunity to meet a cross section of people to enable you to sample our friendly and open culture which sets us apart from other firms.
The vacation placement is designed to give you a good idea of what it might be like to work here. The placement also gives us a chance to get to know you - and at the end of it all placement students take part in our interview process for a training contract.
You will have the opportunity to:
• Learn about our core practice areas
• Work with a buddy
• Shadow our lawyers in their day to day working activities
• Attend social events
• Be involved in client work and meetings
• Work on case studies and receive feedback
• Interview for a training contract
