About

Jack is a lawyer with a strong technical focus and commercial acumen. Since joining Stevens & Bolton in 2022, he has advised developers, investors, corporate occupiers and individuals on a full spectrum of real estate transactions.  

These include the acquisition, disposal and management of investment properties, landlord and tenant matters, funding work and development projects. Jack has a particular interest in the renewables sector, specialising in battery storage projects.

Known for his friendly and approachable demeanour, Jack fosters strong relationships with his clients and is committed to helping them achieve their goals. He combines a pragmatic and commercial approach with his technical expertise to devise practical solutions to complex issues. Jack adopts a firm yet collaborative stance when working with opposing lawyers to ensure his clientsobjectives are met.

Jack heads up the Real Estate Articles Team, drafting and supervising others in the drafting of articles and blogs for the website and other publications.

  • Advising a property investor on the purchase of a boutique hotel in the West End of London for £22 million;
  • Acted for a battery storage developer in securing options and leases for sites with a combined generating capacity of over 550 MW;
  • Acting for a global airline on their leasing arrangements at UK airports, including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester;
  • Advised a borrower client on the real estate aspects an £11 million refinance of a portfolio of gas-powered peaker power plants;
  • Acted on the lease and other real estate aspects of a project involving the construction and operation of an incinerator bottom ash facility, with a development value exceeding £8 million.

Jack studied History at Durham University, graduating in 2010. He subsequently completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC), achieving a distinction in both.

Jack has been published in the Law Society’s Property in Practice magazine.
