The Stevens & Bolton corporate team has advised Diploma PLC on the share sale of its group company Hawco Ltd to a buyer backed by Bay Tree Private Equity LLP.
Diploma PLC is a value-add distributor of specialised products and services in the controls, seals and life sciences sectors. Hawco Ltd is an international distributor and national wholesaler of specialist components and commercial refrigeration systems, which supports a diverse range of global manufacturers. Bay Tree Private Equity, headquartered in London, invests in privately owned UK businesses that generate profits between £1m and £5m, and also provides funding for owner transitions, management buyouts and growth.
