Stevens & Bolton LLP has won 2010 Corporate Law Firm of the Year at the South East Insider Dealmakers awards held on 28 January 2010, repeating similar successes at these awards in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
The event, which was held near Gatwick, was attended by over 250 members of the corporate finance community from across the South East including banks, accountants, private equity houses, lawyers and other professionals in the sector.
The firm has a specialist corporate team of over 20 lawyers with major clients drawn from across the UK and overseas, ranging from household name international groups to entrepreneurs, owner managed businesses and start-ups.
In addition to the team award, corporate partners Keith Syson and Jonathan Porteous were among the top five individual lawyers short listed for the Corporate Lawyer of the Year award.
Ken Woffenden, head of the firm’s corporate team said:
“This is another fantastic result for our corporate practice and indeed the whole firm. These awards were voted on by senior corporate finance professionals and businesses from across the whole region and we are grateful for their support. We believe this further award reinforces our pre-eminent market position in the South East corporate finance community. We have built a strong reputation for providing City of London quality service at value for money rates and this continues to strike a chord in the current tough economic climate”.
