James Lister joins from Charles Russell Speechlys
We are delighted to announce the appointment of experienced private client litigator James Lister, who will head up the firm’s Contentious Trusts & Estates practice. James joins from Charles Russell Speechlys where he trained and qualified, and was listed as one of ePrivateClient’s “Top 35 Under 35” in 2015.
James is a specialist trust and estates litigator with particular expertise advising high and ultra-high net worth individuals on contentious trust claims and contested probate matters, both on and off shore. He also regularly advises clients on claims and disputes relating to estate and trust administration and in relation to Court of Protection matters.

James’ arrival is the latest in a series of successful hires from leading City firms; David Steinberg joined the firm from Clifford Chance last year to head up the restructuring and insolvency group.
