Clare advises on a wide range of corporate transactional work, both domestic and international, including mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, corporate reorganisations, joint ventures and general company law matters.
Clare has experience of acting for clients ranging from listed and international corporates, banks and ultra-high-net-worth-individuals through to owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs. She has worked across a number of sectors, with particular experience in hospitality and technology transactions and, more recently, the childcare sector.
Clare trained and qualified at a leading City law firm, working there for several years following qualification. She joined the corporate team at Stevens & Bolton in June 2021 after a career break. She returned to practice in 2020 having completed a “returnship” in the corporate department of one of the big four accounting firms. Clare has spent time on secondment at law firms in France and Spain and speaks French and Spanish.
