Teja advises clients on a wide range of contentious matters, with particular emphasis on contractual disputes, misrepresentation, negligence and franchise agreements.
Teja trained at a City firm where she qualified as a solicitor in 2018. As part of her training contract Teja undertook a six month secondment with a major broadcaster and telecommunications company. She joined the commercial litigation practice at Stevens & Bolton in 2018.
Teja has experience of working with clients on a broad range of disputes, including fraud, negligence and contractual disputes.
Teja acts for a variety of clients including multi-national corporates, owner-managed businesses and individuals.
She has experience of mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Recent highlights include:
- Advising an international technology manufacturer in relation to a claim for fraudulent misrepresentation
- Obtaining Norwich Pharmacal relief and assisting on claims in relation to an authorised push payment fraud
- Advising a multi-national company in relation to a substantial debt claim
- Successfully negotiating settlement of a licence agreement dispute between licensor and licensee
