I’m looking forward to this year’s Junior Litigators’ Forum, hosted by Informa Connect and ConTrA on 4th and 5th June in Bristol.
Stevens & Bolton is also delighted to be sponsoring this year’s event, which has quickly established itself as a go‑to forum for junior litigators working in the contentious trusts and estates space. Bringing together a strong mix of technical sessions, practical insights and networking opportunities, it’s a valuable opportunity to connect with peers across the sector.
The programme covers a range of key issues affecting private wealth disputes, combining core legal developments with practical perspectives on navigating complex litigation, and (importantly) talking about non-legal issues too, such as the emotional and psychological impact of our work, plus tips on building a practice.
At this year’s forum, my (new!) colleague Alexa Payet will be speaking, sharing her insights on the crossover between private wealth disputes and criminal law, including topical and often sensitive issues such as assisted dying, forfeiture and manslaughter, an area that continues to present increasingly complex and nuanced challenges for litigators in practice.
It’s great to support an event that is so clearly focused on developing the next generation of litigators (chapeau to ConTrA, of course, for continuing to bang this drum). Alongside speaking, Alexa and I will be joined by colleague Ellie Sullivan, and we’re all looking forward to an engaging and insightful couple of days.
If you’re attending and would like to connect, do feel free to get in touch.
