I’m looking forward to speaking at the 3rd Annual Private Client Advisory and Litigation Forum in Paris this June, hosted by ThoughtLeaders4. Those familiar with my rantings will recognise the topic as one that I have been speaking passionately about for some years, as we struggle to get our legal systems to get up to date with societal values in 2026.
This forum brings together leading advisers working with high-net-worth individuals to explore some of the most pressing and evolving issues facing the private client landscape – from global wealth and reputation management to the impact of political and fiscal pressures. It’s my first time at this event, having succumbed to the FOMO from others’ lyrical waxing about it – excited!
I’ll be joining the panel on “Navigating parentage and inheritance in modern families”, which will explore how developments in family structures and scientific advances are challenging traditional legal frameworks around succession and trusts.
As advisers, we are increasingly required to reconcile historic legal concepts with modern realities, often in highly sensitive and complex circumstances. I’m looking forward to discussing how we can approach these issues in a practical, client-focused way.
Stevens & Bolton is proud to be sponsoring this year’s forum, alongside colleagues Jack Bailey and Hayley Robinson who will also be attending.
If you’re attending, it would be great to connect.
