The document described as the summary legal advice (read here) put out ahead of the parliamentary contempt proceedings is a useful summary of the content of the withdrawal agreement. The actual advice published today (found here) will be read with interest both in the UK and abroad with a view to answering the following questions.  What is the government’s legal advisers actual view of legal risks associated with Brexit? How (if at all) does this differ from the government’s public stance? What (if anything) does this disclosure mean for legal and public interest privilege in the future?
