Stevens & Bolton LLP advises a longstanding energy client

Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised a longstanding energy client on a methane gas to energy project in Stenhousmuir. The green methane gas to electricity project is one of many renewable electricity projects which ENER-G Natural Power Limited is involved in both within the UK and internationally.

The project will create green renewable energy for transmission to the grid. The project itself will have a 500kW generator package installed on site and will utilise the landfill gas as a fuel source and will operate for a period of 10-15 years upon commissioning.

The deal follows a push by ENER-G Natural Power Limited to secure commercially viable projects before the changes in the ROCs legislation take effect on the 31 March 2013.

The Stevens & Bolton LLP team included Beverley Flynn (commercial) and Michael Laver (property).
