Beverley joined Stevens & Bolton LLP from City firm Hogan Lovells, having worked internationally. Beverley read law at both King’s College, London and Passau University, Germany. She has experience of working in-house on secondment on a number of occasions.
Beverley specialises in commercial law, with particular focus on major contracts and commercial advisory work. Sectors include IT, retail, healthcare and renewables. She has significant experience in advising on strategic alliances, IT and ecommerce related matters. These include manufacturing, software, services, standard terms, franchising, sponsorship, commercial agency, distribution, outsourcing, advertising and copy clearance.
She leads the firm’s data protection practice advising on cookies, international transfers, data protection policies and subject access requests and other data issues such as freedom of information issues. Beverley is listed in the UK Chambers as a leader in her field. Beverley is listed in the UK Chambers, in which she is highly regarded by clients. One client says: “she provides prompt, pragmatic advice in clear language, is fully conversant with complex technical detail and displays outstanding commercial awareness of the issues we face”. Beverley speaks at numerous seminars and provides in-house legal training and is a member of the Society for Computers and Law (SCL), the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the Data Protection Forum (DPF).
Beverley is an expert on the panel of New Law Journal and has recently been appointed to the commercial editorial board of LexisNexis.
