Stevens & Bolton LLP's head of Intellectual Property, David Wilkinson, has been once again named as a world-class trade mark lawyer in the recently published WTR 1000: The World's Leading Trademark Professionals 2015, with Head of Franchising Nicola Broadhurst also being listed for her transactional work.
The publication, published by World Trademark Review (WTR), provides exhaustive listings of the leading firms and individual practitioners offering high-level advice on issues relating to trade marks. Firms qualify for a listing based on their depth of expertise, market presence and the level of work on which they are typically instructed. The publication comments about Stevens & Bolton LLP: “……home to a team of City-firm pedigreed lawyers, allowing it to run a London-style operation at a regional price point.”
David Wilkinson, who gains a silver classification this year, is described by the publication as: “highly competent…..a greatly respected and extremely experienced litigator – he does the majority of his own advocacy to great effect. He is also excellent in non-contentious commercial IP matters.” David is one of only seven lawyers based outside London to be recognised for enforcement and litigation in England.
Nicola Broadhurst, who is recommended for transactional work, is described as having “… a real facility for the fine print of IP-rich agreements”. Nicola is one of only 15 lawyers to be recognised in this area in the country.
