Stevens & Bolton advises on sale of iCareHealth to the Access Group

Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised the shareholders of longstanding client and care home software provider iCareHealth on its recent sale to the Access Group.

iCareHealth is a leading provider of software solutions for the social care sector, with a range of products that help care organisations manage their quality and risk, in order to achieve compliance.

The Access Group is a UK-focused software company with a strong track record of providing an extensive software portfolio for the whole organisation. Their Health and Social Care division includes a number of solutions used by over 5,000 registered providers in residential and domiciliary care.

The acquisition will enable iCareHealth to access a new level of expertise in the provision of integrated software solutions, help accelerate product development and provide clients with a wider range of connected solutions to help them in their business.

Rohan Vendy, CEO of iCareHealth, commented “It was a pleasure to work with Stevens & Bolton. Jenny and her team delivered specialised advice across a wide range of issues, in what turned out to be a complex transaction. Their diligent approach, careful attention to detail and easy manner made for a great client experience. And a successful outcome.”

The S&B team was led by corporate partner Jenny Robertson, supported by associate Bethany Sheen and trainee solicitor Zara Matthews (corporate), Kate Schmit (Corporate Tax), Gabrielle Holgate (Pensions), Michelle Hobbs (employment), Matthew Jamieson (real estate) and Tom Lingard (Intellectual Property).
