Face-coverings in the workplace: a recent Employment Tribunal decision

The Employment Tribunal has recently found that an employer acted fairly in dismissing an employee for failing to wear a face covering whilst attending a client’s site (Kubilius v Kent Foods Ltd). As employers gear up to welcome more employees back to the workplace, this case is a helpful example of when it may be reasonable to take serious disciplinary action against employees who are reluctant to take COVID preventative measures seriously.
