Rebecca joined Stevens & Bolton in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for Barlow Robbins LLP for 8 years.
Rebecca enjoys advising businesses and individuals on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious. Her experience ranges from advice at the outset of the employment relationship, in drafting employment contracts and policies and considering employment status, through to termination, be that by redundancy, disciplinary or other means. Rebecca also supports corporate and commercial colleagues on the employment aspects of transactions, including TUPE. She has particular experience in advising the recruitment sector on issues such as the implications of the 2003 Conduct Regulations, AWR and IR35. She also often assists senior executives in the negotiation of the termination of their employment.
Rebecca has experience of Employment Tribunal litigation, both for Claimants and Respondents, ranging from claims of unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, discrimination, employment status and contractual disputes.
